![]() ![]() Admittedly, they probably overdid it a little with many of the textures and shaders that are almost cartoonishly shiny, but it makes sense as a tech showcase. The realistic shadows, reflections, and scattered light make this game from 1997 look like a boomer-shooter-revival from 2019 with retro-style assets. This is an excellent showcase of how ray-traced lighting can breath new life into a classic game. Come for the tech demo, stay for the Quake.
